Record Label History
2015 FROM THE WORST TIME
Right before the end of the year during some of the wort times in their marriage, Capone gave up with living on his own strength and started fully relying on God. Capone, who had been using the name Capone & The Untouchables were at this time running a record label call Untouchable Underground Records. It was all about Capone. This is what had to die before God would begin to work. In the fall Capone surrendered all to the Lord and renamed the record label Kingdom Legacy Record with a motto It’s not about Celebrity, It’s about Legacy.
2016 A FRESH START
The record label started with 2 artists and Capone De Leon & Becky Mireles De Leon being the only artists on the label was just fine with them. Having many failures seeking after new artists and make moves under their own strength with the Untouchable Underground Records both of them were ready to let God do what He wanted to do in bringing artists to the label, then first artist came along. One day Poetic Soulja (a long time friend and partner) walked up to the couple and announced I want to be on the KLR Label. Only God!!!
2017 STEADY GROWTH
Through out the next Kingdom Legacy Records grew taking on several artists with some parting ways quickly but most staying for the long term. Kingdom Legacy was determined to be a completely different kind of label and after a little growing pains we ended the year on a high note when on News Years Eve the very last day of the year Dre’ L.O.C. announces live that he will be joining with Kingdom Legacy Records.
